Updates

Dear Diary
I will start updating more. I will start updating more. I will start updating more. I will start updating more. I will...

Maybe if I write it enough times, it will stick. ;)

So. My health has been doing a lot better, overall, as has my sisters' health. However, the past couple of weeks have been a bit rough as all the pollen came out. I always get migraines this time of year. Also, something that doesn't help...apparently, Zyrtec makes me sleepy. Very sleepy. A whole pill was too much, so I tried half of one. Still too much. After a few days of taking a quarter of a pill every night, it makes me so tired, I sleep all day. So no more Zyrtec for me. I don't think it was really helping my allergies anyway. :P

I'm trying to keep up with all the books I read this year. There are a lot of deeper books I want to read, but haven't been reading, because it's hard for me to concentrate enough when I'm sick and getting bad headaches. I've been reading quite a few Agatha Christie books, which I love. Hercule Poirot is great.

We're getting settled in a new church, which is really nice. After church hunting for a while, it's great to have found the place we want to be. :) We already knew some people there, which helped as well. It's easier being at a new place if you already know people there.

It seems like a lot of my friends are coming back here. It's so good to hear from you!

I know how it feels about allergies. Nothing works much with me anymore. I try different things and they work for maybe a month and then stop working. I've gotten to the point of using generic brands. They've been working better then the popular brands.

I love Agatha Christie! I also been reading Nancy Drew books. I've been in a mystery kick I guess. It all started with my love of Sherlock Holmes. :)

I didn't know you guys were church hopping. I'm glad you found one though. I know that can be rough sometimes.

1/2 of a Zyrtec makes me a coma patient, or it feels that way at least. I hear you there. I'm on flonase now, and it doens't make me feel strange at all, I love it.

Wow, I can't believe Zyrtec made you sleep that much. Have you asked your doctor about Singulair? I remember I was taking it for a form of asthma. Not sure of all the symptoms it cures though.

Glad you are getting comfortable with your new church :)

I do hope that your allergies treat you better soon!
I just started reading some of Agatha Christie's books. They are so much fun to try and figure out.;)
It is nice to have a good church home.

Nice to hear from you! And yay for finding a church! I'll be church hunting when I move to Minnesota soon myself!

As for Zyrtec, I can't take it either! It WIPED me out, even half a pill. It was bad and it was also my first week on pediatric ICU so it really was a bummer. I take Claritin now which actually does help some.
